Nine Harriton High School Athletes Sign College Commitments

ROSEMONT- Nine athletes from Harriton High School made their futures evident last week, as they officially signed letters of intent or celebrated their commitment to attend colleges across the country for their sport. Nov. 12 marked the first day that high school seniors could sign scholarship papers for the following sports: baseball, basketball, golf, lacrosse, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, water polo (girls only), track & field and wrestling. The letter of intent is a binding agreement between the student-athlete and a college, by which the student-athlete agrees to attend the college for one academic year.

The following student-athletes signed as part of the NCAA National Letter of Intent Signing Day:

  • Jane Henderson– Signed with Lehigh University to play Women’s Lacrosse
  • Maura Henderson– Signed with Lehigh University to play Women’s Lacrosse
  • Erik Reisner– Signed with Temple University to play Golf
  • Tristan Kevitch– Signed with Bloomsburg University to play Baseball
  • Sam Schlichting- Signed with Colgate University to play Football

**Schlichting will wait until February to sign his National Letter of Intent.

Fellow seniors Kevin Bendesky (Men’s Soccer – Yale University); Daniel Schupper (Baseball – Brandeis); Pat Bernicker (Men’s Lacrosse – Ursinus College); Brian Meyer (Men’s Lacrosse- Washington College) and all announced their commitment to attend the aforementioned colleges where they will play the sport indicated next to their school.
